I know that, but they bought the ASSETS of Tiny AFTER they went bust, not before.

The earlier poster implied that Tiny were part of Watford Electronics before that, which is not the case.

Watford also bought several other computer manfucaturers/sellers from their Administrators after they went bankrupt.

No doubt someone will also claim that these companies were part of Watford BEFORE they went bust too....

Theres nothing on those sites to confirm savastore / WE went out of business before this year - that was your orginal claim "they've done it before" - so back it up.
I've used savastore and on the whole had a mix experience. Unfortunately for them, some of the good staff, especially on the counters left and the new ones just didn't realise exactly who put the money in their pockets.

Watford Electronics went into administration around 7 or 8 years ago. At the time they traded online as Watford Electronics, mainly in PC Systems. The went bump, bought it back and relaunched online as Savastore.

This is not my understanding at all. Savastore was an on-line trading style of Watford Electronics. WE was the company behind Savastore.

This is now from memory, so, please no flaming if someone can prove me wrong. I believe that WE launched SavaStore purely as an online operation to help develop a channel where the name Watford Electronics was entirely misrepresentative (ie, no longer in Watford and Electronics being far too broad a category for the business it was ostensibly in).

I've used savastore a lot in the past, always got my goods, and the few returns I had to do caused no problem at all....I especially like their collection service as it was near me....

They did have their Watford shop for quite a while, but later/now are Luton based....Always had a friendly experience with the guys working at the counter...

It has been very strange though how they just shut their Website one day....

I read somewhere (try google-ing it) about some rumour that their couriers had not been paid, hence despatched goods were being held back by the couriers. I'd wait before being lured into any huge discounts on the new web-site. Could be a severely delayed (or even non-existent) delivery.

People in/near Luton, fancy shedding some light on whether the shop is still open and running business? That would be a good indication of whether the company is really back in business.

If you had such a margin why rush to get the same business
back again? Food and booze can be 400%+!

I don't mind going to court at all, you see I have heard about

then I make a simple declaration if I lose.
