  • Yes as I said I was there 2 nights a week and we intended to move out and get our own place and move in together. And we actually haven't done a thing wrong. We have declared everything we have ever done to the jobcentre and the benefits agency. I will admit that yes I used the terminology living together but the reality is that it was 2 nights a week and I have proof as such. I guess that that is where the problem lies. I am not a blagger and have worked hard for everything I have, so has my oh. I am doing an honours degree and trying to look for work as well and look after a 3 year old. So please don't call me that as I get my stuff fair and square. I have never claimed a penny of js in my life. I only get my child benefit and tax credit, not a penny else.

it makes no sence. The "couple" would get more if they lived together and made joint applications anyway !!!

yes maybe more housing benefit but they would get more benefits living seperate especially since she is at uni (doing the min hours so as not to affect benefits etc)

Do I really need to explain my life to you, also do you have nothing better to do than conduct a survey into my life. As I already said yes we were planning on moving in together so yes we needed the stuff. I also said we broke up. I also clarified that I lived there 2 nights a week. I don't see where you are failing to grasp this? I clearly said that I never moved out of my parents and that I have never moved in with him.

well if thats the case then the advice in the first post is correct. Your "OH" needs to find a one bed flat or bedsit.

I am not quite sure why you stated that you need a 3 bed house since you clearly dont as you are all cosy with your parents.
