Hi, does anyone know if any of the Euro or Keycamps can be reached by train - preferably direct from Paris?
Thanks, in advance

Doesn't answer your question but I looked into this for our holiday to the Dordogne, staying at Les Penyrals near Sarlat (Eurocamp and Siblu site). It's near the town of Sarlat which has a station and is the same distance south as Bordeaux. From Stoke it would cost the 4 of us £640 on the train not including to and from the station transfers. We would use taxis or buses for this. Toll and petrol costs for this journey are £200. Unfortunately we are going to drive again.0

Thanks NafUk. Our problem is there's six of us and we only have a five seater car...so driving isn't an option.

If you stayed in the site international near paris. We stayed there last year with keycamp. You can get eurostar from london to paris then its easy to get an underground train to the site.:j0

Another thought might be flying then hiring a big car we did this one year to and was worth the money.:j0

Have you checked out Ryanair prices to an airport near the site that you are looking at. Or other airlines???? We flew to Montpellier and then caught a train to a Haven site along the southern coast of France. Where were you hoping to stay? Even Spain is easy, with cheap flights and easy train connections. We have flown to Reus and then stayed in holiday parks. Really easy.0

Can you cope with coach travel?
Or fly to Marco Polo and make your own transfers. ( quite easy )
Have a look at Bolero who go to Union Lido on the Italian Adriatic coast.
I have been twice with Bolero and the site is fabulous, Key camp, Euro camp etc. here as well or book direct with site and fly.
From Marco Polo get boat to Venice and then ferry to Punta Sabbioni followed by bus to Cavalino. It is about 30-40 minutes from Venice to the site gates and about €6-7 day return not sure about a single.I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -
just a thought , as there are 6 of you cant you get a cheap flight to costa brava gerona , camp sites are great and they do buses from the airport to the resorts , very cheap about seven euros each , some sites in blanes . https://www.campingsolmar.com. https://www.campinglamasia.com both great sites0

The first 4 years when we holidayed with venue holidays at Canet Plage near Perpignan, we travelled by train to perpignan where they picked us up and transferred us to the campsite.
They are a family run company, might be worth contacting them
