My wife has a Citroen 2CV. She took me to an international 2CV meeting once. Somewhere in Europe, someone had taken a 2CV, removed the engine and put a 1000cc motorbike engine in the back (where the back seats would have been), chain driven to a crude axle. I can't remember a dif. They had done it in the week before the meeting, for a laugh. It went like stink but never in a straight line and had to be driven with the windows open, as they hadn't sorted out the exhaust (or the brakes).

the government will stand to loose alot of money as the aftermarket car market is massive
alot of modifications actually improve cars with the exception of young boy/girl racers with there stickers, bodykits neons etc
take for example suspension, brake, filters and wheels these actually improve the characteristics of the cars some a marginal increase and others depending on spec make a huge difference0 -
Yes, just another bit of anti-EU rubbish where the press have chosen to misinterpret something.
Remember when they told us all bananas would have to be perfectly straight?
Remember when they said that we couldn't call ice cream "ice cream"?
Remember when they said we couldn't buy beer in pints?
Don't worry.
Remember when they told us we should join the Euro?0 -
