French_Knickers wrote: »Right, my second coke shop today has come back a little short too!
All my previous ones had been fine as I'd bought a custard AND a rice as I couldn't remember which one was the trigger! Then it was said on either but only needed one so did that today but its clearly not worked quite right.
It would appear that one rice/custard only 'covers' 7 packs, would I be correct in thinking that?
I dont know as I've stuck to 1 rice/3 cokes in order to keep below £10 APG. With 7 cokes you must be getting APGs of more than £10 or else buying a lot of stuff that is cheaper in As to offset it!!!!???
Or have you decided to do away with the £10 target?Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
budget_babe wrote: »So sorry to see yet more disharmony, it is such a shame and not what mse is all about.
I de-lurked as I wanted to save some money, not to be greedy but just to save money. I have only done one glitch shop, I was and am grateful to the Elite that have helped me so far. Many Thanks to Savannah67 and Mrs Stinkface for their pm's and help that they have provided.
Sorry if I will be flamed for this, but it has to be said for me anyway that there seems to be a different set of posters some who purely want to save money as they are on a tight budget etc, but then others that do push the boundaries and risk the glitches being found sooner for the other mse users.
I have previously benefitted from the body shop glitches but I have not been greedy with my orders and with some of the glitch buys I have made hampers to be raffled off in aid of the Dougie Mac etc.
I feel very sad that such dis-harmony is taking place as clearly for alot of posters it is a life line with saving money, but also for the personal support that it provides.
Many posters are struggling with the rising cost of living and their main concern is to save money, I think that once greed takes hold of people then it does have a detrimental effect on everything.
From being a newbie and looking in from the outside it has saddened me to see how things have turned, is it because there are so many glitches, I don't know. In the past people have seemed happy with an odd glitch here or there to make life that little bit easier.
Greed seems to have gotten the better of some people and sorry if I am flamed for saying that but to me it is what I think. Many on here have contributed such alot and AngelsMadV, I was so grateful for the list you posted. I know alot of people were against that but it was useful and as you say there are alot of older people on here that could benefit from that post.
We should always try to do things with the best intentions and have a little ourselves but save some for others.
Before I go I wish baby Polly and baby Ben all the best and they are both so adorable. :A
FairClair I hope that things improve for you sweetheart. xxx
JamSponge I hope the cove stays blue for many many months to come.
FloFlo hugs to you and the difficult time you have had.
Also 3 Dogs sorry I wasn't around when Mr 3Dogs were here, but I see you have only lost him recently so hugs.(())
To everyone else take care and I shall pop in lurking from time to time, some of you have been wonderful to me so thankyou so much for that. :A
Savannah67 I shall look out for you, you will be easy to notice with your shopping baskets.
I hope you all get out of this thread what you need and I hope that the support carries on for you for a long long time to come.
Take Care eveyone Budgie xxx
OMG - I HAVE to go to work but just wanted to respond to Budgies post. I really hope you reconsider what you feel compelled to do because of the turn the thread has taken - as in all walks of life people upset other people - sometimes intentionally sometimes not but mostly the people on here are so supportive and helpful to one another and on the whole you would find it hard to find a better bunch of friends - virtual or otherwise. There is always somebody who will give a little support to one of our number who is having a hard time etc and from time to time feelings will run high. Your input is as valuable as the next persons Budgie and many of us will miss you - so please think again. Things will settle down with the thread and hopefully return to being what it does best - after all its not called the 'Elite' for nothing lol and the mix of people are what makes it so good:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

I wouldn't judge because I hate people judging me, it's endlessly frustrating and angering being on the other end of the scale, as a 34-year-old childless woman CONSTANTLY being judged for not having kids and grilled about whether I want kids or not!
I can just about cope with friends asking this (they tend not to though!) but I want to punch people who meet me and start asking me things like "Don't you want/like kids then?" HOW IS THAT YOUR ******* BUSINESS? Did I meet you FIVE minutes ago and start asking YOU all sorts of personal questions? No, so BOG OFF!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Sorry for the rant there, I'm sure there are people in this thread who had their kids young or like me are older and don't have any, we both get judged a LOT over something that is no-one's business but our own, so I do know where you're coming from to some degree.
When is your daughter due? Is another elite baby imminent? :j
I used to get grilled everytime when I visited certain relatives about getting married because all their children were, not in a nasty way but it used to bore me being asked the same thing all the time, now their children are all divorced they dont ask anymore0 -
