    Sorry to bug you all again, but I've just had a phone call from DWP asking if I still want to go ahead with my appeal (I told them yes of course). Is that usual. I didn't realise they worked weekends either!

    its not unusual.
    ATOS even carry out WCA on subdays as there is such a backlog

    That's awful.

    I thought that Sunday was a religious day - I would tell them where to go if they asked me to go for a medical.

    Well I had my appeal today and it was allowed. I was put in the WRA group which is what I expected (and agree with) and they recommended that I not be called back for 12 months.

    Thank you all for your help and support through this very stressful time. I burst into tears when the judge told me they had allowed my appeal I was so relieved, it was so nice to be listened to and be believed.

    Now I can concentrate on getting better and not living in fear of every brown envelope that comes through my door.

    one final thank you before I leave this thread and mse for the most part. To Muttley in particular jic he comes back (I hope he's well)

    I hope that anyone who has found themselves in a similar situation can get the same level of support, not only from their docs but in the people around them (both online and IRL) as I have.
