Yes, I checked on the Ikea website and downloaded the instructions and they both say all the fittings, doors and shelves are included.

Sounds like a game of poker to me.

He moved house fast didn't he... nice try, just shows how worried he is.

If it's not far I'd pay him a visit (take the wardrobe packed) be assertive but polite and ask for a refund.

If he still refuses take a look round his car/through his front windows and ask him if he's sure he wants to rip you off over the price of a windscreen excess.

He can't be that stupid surely?

So I've been in touch with Ikea again today and found out when they sell this particular wardrobe it comes in two packages labelled 1 and 2. I have been sold two number 2 packages hence why all the fittings, doors and shelves are missing. One of the boxes I have does have a number 2 on it whereas the other has had the number ripped away.

Also gumtree have no said they cannot give me the original ad but they can give it to the police or a solicitor. If I were to go to small claims I would represent myself and surely this is a matter the police would not get involved with??
