Moving house with Sky - what's best?

I've had Sky at current address for 3+ years. Have Movies and Sport and old style Sky+ box. £52 a month.
Am moving in with girlfriend this month. She doesn't have Sky. Am I best closing my account and her opening a new one with the published deals off Sky website? - Sky HD box etc. We want Multiroom as well.
Or am I best telling Sky I'm moving and negotiating a good deal to set up at hers?
Ta.

The best deal would be new account with gf name as the most sky would give to existing is usually half price 6 months0

The new boxes are compatable with the Sky Anytime+ service,Id go with a new subscription & get Sky to install your existing box in the second location.0

you would not be eligable to open a new account if gf name and if sky caught you doing it they can charge the FULL PRICE of the equipment jsut call up and see what can be done:)0

Exactly, all she needs to do is sign up in her name at the new address & then later add the BF to the Sky account as a secondary. That way he can access the account details on her behalf if anything goes wrong.0 -

Ah, do you mean just take my Sky+ box with me and get them to plug it in to other room when they set her up?0 -

No, the best thing would be to take your dish and Digibox and cancel Sky completely. Just watch the free programmes. That way you'll save the most money so it's definitely the best.0 -

No,just tell them you're moving i back to your parents & they already have Sky.In the end it's no business of theirs why you cancel if you're out of the initial contract.Sky boxes are always for sale on E-Bay all the time,so all you need to ask Sky for is a replacement Skycard if it's needed.
It's a new account at a new address for a new subscriber...Sky don't need to know you're moving in,just get your girlfriend to tell Sky you want multi room & already have a box.0 -
