Was just wondering how a member of staff working in the T Mobile call centre (thought it was in India?) managed to redirect calls to your house? Each staff member does not have their own phone number from which to divert calls .... he would have somehow had to redirect all incoming calls.

It can be done from the operators phone, so all calls routed to a particular operator could indeed be forwarded to a home number, provided the call centre allows 1) call forwarding from operators phones and 2) outgoing phone calls from operators phone.

Its possible, but a bit unlikely.

This was all about 10 years ago, things have changed a lot since then.....
and T mobile have a call centre in W Scotland still to this day.
I have a deep burning indifference
  • Having worked in a call centre, it's can be very easy to cut people off, or have calls put through when you think you're not active. The Aspect boxes we used had hold and release were next to each other.

Complaining just to be nasty seems a bit mean though.

I wasn't particularly being nasty as it happens, at the time I felt annoyed that it had happened, and it does happen far too often. I wanted my call to be taken in a professional manner, and it wasn't, so I complained.

If not being nasty I will be charitable then and say you were just someone throwing their toys out of the pram.
