Orange Care have changed Insurance Providers

Hello All!
I have just rang up Orange to attempt to get my phone replaced with my Orange care insurance as I spilt a pint of water on it less then two days ago and now the phone will power on and will work all except for the mobile signal.
Normally, when you call Orange you will get put through to Customer Services and they will proceed with your claim. This isn't the case anymore, as now when you call customer services they will tell you to contact their insurance provider directly. The new insurance provider is now Lifestyle Services Group, not Allianz like it used to be.
Apparently this change happened last Friday and I haven't been told about any changes at all, are they allowed to do this?
Thank you,
Jack

Unless there has been some material detriment to you from the change I doubt anyone would be interested.0 -
Lifestyle are a pain in the...Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I've done a little research into this since reading the thread a few days ago.
Turns out that Lifestyle Services Group or LSG as otherwise known, have as far as i can see always been involved with orange care, they are the people who put your claim through, and Allianz are also still involved and always have been, they are the underwriter of the insurance.
Nothing has changed in a long while.0
