I said that Macs aren't relevant as any OSX Mac with bluetooth fitted can do it. As can any bluetooth equipped Windows PC - it's about the Playbook, not Macs.
So the Playbook does have bluetooth hardware, but according to SuperHan, does NOT support Bluetooth file transfers, just like an iPad.
Unless there's some app in the Playbook store, WiFi transfers won't be possible either. Plugging in is often the fastest way for big files anyway.
How will wifi transfers not be possible!? If I connect my macbook and playbook to the same wireless network, I can transfer files without ANY third party app.
afaik, NO Mac or Windows with bluetooth can transfer files to the playbook over bluetooth. The reason I talk about Mac is because I know it is very easy to WiFi transfer Mac > Playbook, but have no idea if it is as simple/possible on Windows.0
