Best way for getting around london

Hi going to london in may for 4 days.Could anyone tell me the cheapest way to go on the underground,will be going to most of the attractions that i can.Thanks..

If you are going to use 2for1 offers then yes, if not then PAYG is the way to go as even at it's most expensive it's 50p per day less than a 1 day travelcard
