New card to tart

Guys,

I need a new card to tart.

I have:

Thomas cook (MBNA)
Mint
Egg
Cap one

Also have a goldfish (Lloyds) which I use day to day. MBNA 0% ends this month and I need a replacement, its hard to work out which companies own each card. I was going to apply for a Virgin but then found out its also an MBNA.

Would Halifax be a good one I think this is Bank of Scotland?

What I really need is a list of who owns each card so I know who to approach and who not to.

Thanks Tony

Halifax sounds a good one (owned by HBOS - Halifax Bank of Scotland)

Morgan Stanley i think are owned by themselves (not entirely sure).

If you want to check any others, check out their websites or leaflets - parent (or affiliate) company is usually listed in the small print

Thanks Prenticesa, its hard to find the info on the website sometimes, I think they hide it away. MBNA are usally quite easy to find and thats good as they appear to own half the cards going.

It would be handy if there was a list of all cards available and who the parent company was someware.

Dont know how I got away with this but applied for a Intelligent Finance card (RBS), not knowing my mint card was also RBS, I did not list my mint card in the application but they still gave me £9,100..... nice

As far as I'm aware, Intelligence Finance is an HBOS (Halifax) card & is NOT run by RBOS... Where'd you get that idea?
