Credit card banks/providers etc

Options
Hi im fairly new to the forums but read the site quite often.

Is there some kind of list or referance to tell people which credit card company/promoter/providers is linked to which credit card bank? ie: a lot virgin, abbey etc are MBNA.

The reason i ask is that i have many credit cards (use the intrest free balance tranfers all the time) and to my knowledge i think there is only a few more i can have. Capital One being one of them.

You can find this out from visiting there website and such but thought i might be handy to have a list?

Plus is it a good idea to start getting rid of the old cards that the offers of intrest free have gone on?

Thanks

Kev.
if i had known then what i know now

  • I second that request. Recently applied for an MBNA card, and was rejected, now which cards should I not apply for?

MBNA's web site lists quite a few. Click here and look through the "More choices" links.

I thought the Pru were trying to sell Egg's French business, but in the end as no-one would buy it they decided to shut it down.
