OH's was a variable amount every month and not the £50 that they charge for Sentinel. I can see why it is confusing.
  • Hi

I have waited 16 months for Lloyds to sort my PPi out this first said they could not find it on my statment so I provided a copy I then started to chase them in August right through to Early Jan 13 Every time I rang customer service I was told my case was under investigation when it never was they never kept me informed of what was happening it was raised 4 time to try and get the case resolved in October last year the customer service advor said that I would be paid addition compasation for the time I had waited this had all been record on those wonderfull voice tapes and she also emailed the ppi dept with that and still nothing so in Jan this year I asked to speak to a senior manager and it was only after this did I then have a phone that very morning to talk about the letter of complaint I had sent in in Feb 12 so I knew very well that they had lied about my claim being under investigation in 12.
Now I'm being told that its in the process of being investigated I trust them as far as I can throw them which is not too far any one got any bright ideals how I can get them to resplove my case without taking it to the fos and yes I do have a case for them to pay it back as I was self employed at the time and it would never had paid out in a million years.
I know that from wining a victory with the fos against Capital One self employed would not pay out.

Actually, just because you won against Capital One, it doesn't follow the same complaint reasons will work. But that's not important. If I were you, I'd just go to the FOS anyway. If you asked them [Lloyds] to re-investgate [which is essentially did by sending them proof of your PPI ] then they can take as long as they like.
There is no way to hurry them up besides sending them a letter telling them unless your complaint is resolved in a timely manner, you will be sending your complaint to the FOS. You can also complain about their handling of your complaint. There's not a lot else you can do. You could also maybe e-mail the CEO but I wouldn't bank on anything resulting a quick resolution of your complaint
