Eating in Blackpool

THere is also the Swift Hound on Rigby Road which is a pub - foods ok in there. There are a couple of nice cafes down lytham road - JJ&L's do lovely homecooked food, also there is a lovely fish and chip shop just off Waterloo Road near to Notriannis - Seafresh with a steak and seafood place next door to it - cant comment on this as its been about 6 years since ive been in there but its been there as long as i can remember so it must be doing ok. Also there is the Gurka Resturant on Waterloo Road - all you can eat for less than a tenner - lots of differnt food to try. All just depends if you want to stay around where you are or want to head in different areas.

found what seems to be a good place called lindale cafe on dale street. But trying to find out if its open at night. Tried e-mailing but haven't had a reply. And cant seem to find a phone number - do any locals know when its open ?

When we go to Blackpool we always go to The Cottage for Fish & Chips ,31 Newhouse Road, Marton, Blackpool, Lancashire FY4 4JH The First time we went whilst eating Peter Kay came in for a meal. Its no where near where your staying but if you have a car it's worth a trip, We also went to Harry Ramsdens last time it was ok & a lot better than the one in scarbrough.

"Toast" cafe/bar on Corporation St just behind the Town Hall is good, really good choice on the menu and the staff are great. I agree with the others who have suggested Bispham or Cleveleys Kitchen too, nice staff and the food is simple and tasty.

Quick update - we used the Lindale cafe on Dale street which is open until about 6.30pm - lots of good offers and good homecooked food. Also used C Fresh chippy just round the corner and found this good and finally the Red Pepper Chinese takeaway on Central Drive - all were very good in our opinion. Hope this helps someone.

I will second that Wetherspoons. Visited there for breakfast and each night for dinner for 4 days a few weeks ago. Nice atmosphere, good food and staff that were great and actually wanted to be there. From memory it's called Albert and the lion but its on the pro just south of the tower. Well worth a visit.
