    Morning everyone.

DD does her first full day in reception. I haven't blubbed yet, house a tip, have list as long as my arm of things to ge through chores wise so no time for a pity party. Terrible nights sleep thanks to Luna having the squits so eyes feel sore and it's going to be an effort today :o
Tea is a makeshift because tap classes restart tonight.

Right no rest for the wicked ;) hugs and spoons all round xxx

LW hope pain is less today xxx

Another vote for you to enjoy the sun while we have it.

Glad that your dad has picked up and now has an appetite etc.

Waiting for dd to get downstairs so we can go shopping for uni stuff this morning. DH has shifted the car so we can get out of the drive while the builder is here and will give us a lift to Monk's Cross. Will take mobile in case hospital rings about oldest dd. Still no firm diagnosis and think she has another scan today which we hope will clarify things.

Made DH and me boiled egg and toast, washing is hung out on the line, dishwasher loaded and jacket potato and baked beans on a plate in microwave that he just has to heat up at lunchtime
    for himself.

Going to treat youngest to lunch while we are out and then prepare for visits to hospital. There is lean mince and some chicken pieces in fridge so family have choice of curry, veg pasta, burgers or spag bol.

Went to Al*i last night and got blood pressure monitor for DH, new shower head and hose and then found the frozen sea bass I had been looking for for ages so very pleased.

    Hug to all

    Good morning Hester and all,

today is my sons first day at college and whilst i am wondering how he is getting on i am also appreciating having the house to myself. Over the summer holidays he has spent far too much time on his own in his room. As i am getting older i am finding i need my own space more and more. The last time i felt this way was when i was an adolescent teen and just breaking out of childhood feeling lost and unsure of the path ahead.

Jobs planned for me today are.

Ebay.... ive got a few bits i need to list.

Clean the leather suite .... two dogs on a cream suite... what was i thinking?

Windows..... Ive got this new gadget thingy. I need to try it out to see if it is any use. I hate asking my son to help cause i aint very good on stepladders.

Hanging baskets.... Well past their prime... need to be humanely disposed of.:rotfl: Garden duties are calling me!

Bedding in the washer ready to be hung out.

Kitchen floor needs a good clean. The pitter patter of tiny paws bought in mud from the garden this morning.

Then there is my daily 'date' with the vacuum cleaner. Since Scooby the chinchilla is no longer with us (RIP Scoobs), i now find i only have to vacuum once a day in the living room.

Have a great and sunny day all!

    Morning all

Feeling rather blearly eyed this morning. Lots of aches and niggles. Baby is having a quiet day so perhaps preparing himself to come into the world. Heartburn seems have eased off so hopefully he has dropped some more. Just under 5 weeks til my due date now.

The nesting instinct is there but I'm feeling exhausted all the time. My iron levels are low despite being on iron 3 times a day. Dr has changed prescription now so hopefully will perk up soon. Also been told to take them with orange juice which I really can't stomach. Any ideas for anything else that's high in bit c?

Need to try and get tidied up. Have washing to put away. Why is tthat such a tedious job?! Wm is about to finish so will hang that out. Going to wash more baby bits and get them hung out too. Just general tidy around needed to.

Don't think I will get much more than that done. Hope all those starting school, enjoy themselves. And all you mums and dada enjoy the peace. Ds starts his nursery om Monday and the house is going to be too quiet without him. He's looking forward to it though so I'll just look forward to having a tidy house. For few hrs anyway!

Hugs to all that want them. Have gd day everyone :)

    Hi all

Just looked at my email - and, fingers crossed, I may have a taker for half the voluntary paperwork I do - I've been doing my own region (Milton Keynes and Northants) for about 10 years, and 5 or 6 years ago, I got asked to take on Oxford as well, on a temporary basis, and have been doing it ever since. Now, hopefully, we have a chap prepared to take Oxford. Once rid of that, I can look at getting someone else to take on MK & Northants. Well, I feel that a decade is a long enough stint, it's time someone else took a turn.;)

    Grapefruit juice? Tomato juice?:o

Shoulder still agony; I kid you not, it's every bit as bad as before I saw the physio-terrorist. I don't know what to do now.:(

I have a new scar on my arm where I burnt it on the BM on Monday; but it's only one amongst many.:D

Looking forward to Lucy Labrador coming tomorrow; but I still don't know what time she's arriving. If I don't hear today, I'll have to text the local agent.;)

    Hi all,
LW,sorry to hear about your shoulder playing up again, painfree vibes winging their way to you.
Bitsy & Halight-doesnt seem 2 minutes since the girls were teething and keeping you up.Hope they all love school :D
Lou-I'd make the most of the time DS is at nursery and get plenty rest, you wont be home alone long now with only 5 weeks to go & you never know baby might be early ;)

Gone dull and cool here,it was nice earlier.Nipped down to Dun£lm and craft place near DS hairdresser while he was getting trimmed.I needed a new sheet for our bed,so had a mooch too.

Just finished the last of my soup I made yesterday, broc and blue cheese,no bread though, trying to lose a pound or two as we are off to France for a few days next week :j
Elona-hope you hear about DD soon and that she's feeling better.I got some of the Basa fillets to try from Aldos, having them tonight so hope they're ok.

Hope you all have a good day x

Pomegranate or pineapple juice? Or maybe apple & mango?
