Hate cheap coffee, if it's a good friend i would say she's probably worth buying the decent stuff for. You can quite often pick up carte noir or gold blend on a reasonable offer. I'd be a bit upset if my best mate suddenly started giving me rubbish coffee....0

I have tried lots of different coffees, Dou Egberts, Nescafe, Aldi branded and find that I find the nicest to be Kenco Rich blend.
On offer at Tesco at the minute, £3 for a 150g refill pouch.
Yep, not the cheapest but there are some things not worth compromising on, coffee and loo rolls!0 -

it's Nescafe AZERA 'Barista Style Instant Coffee' 60g - I bought it to try as it looks similar to the Starbucks Barista Style & half the price!
Not used it yet as still using up some Nescafe Alta Rica which my other half loves.______________________________________0 -
I buy the granArom coffee @ Lidl for the last 18 months £1.89 for 200g I used to drink Nescafe I find the one I buy now very nice
I agree - for my tastes, I cant tell the difference between this and Nescafe Gold Blend. But I could with the Aldi version ...
I think the best you can do is try ... and if it's not right, mix it with your usual, to mask the taste! (I actually do that with hot chocolate - I get the cheap one from Aldi or Sainsbobs and mix it with Options when it's on offer! Now I cant have it any other way!)I wish I was a glow worm, a glow worm's never glum
Cos how can you be gloomy, when the sun shines out your bum?0 -
