Personally I don't give a monkeys about feedback I don't wait for someone to give me feedback before I do, I just give it either when I've been paid (some people a lot quicker to pay than others) or when I've posted the item.

As a prospective purchaser it wouldn't personally put me off if someone had a neutral feedback. There's always one 'customer' from hell just the same as in real life shops. I'd look at all their feedback to help me assess the risk factor.

You will give a monkeys when you get totally unwarranted negative feedback after you have left someone positive feedback. People are far more fair and reasonable when they have something to lose themselves i.e neg feedback. A small minority of people are totally unfair and unreasonable, they will screw you over without a second thought if there is no comeback for them. Sell enough stuff on Ebay and you will have dealings with these people - then you too will not leave feedback first.

Thanks for the advice. If this bothers you so much, and you know you can't get any 'justice' aren't there any other auction sites you could use instead and give e-bay the boot?
