    Norton are rubbish ... they take up loads of disk space, are very expensive (you can download stuff just as good for free) and you can never get to speak to anyone as all their phone lines are automated.

    Have used Norton products several years and always been hassle free. Tried AVG once as so well recommended by the tight wadded ;-) and found it a pain. Horses for courses.

    Buy Norton via ebay and when subscription runs out after 12 months buy another copy rather than re-subscribe. I pay around 8 UKP per copy for Systemworks Pro. It's well worth it for a hassle free life.

    BTW ... if you don't want system resources using by Norton, only install what you need, not the whole lot! If you're using an old computer, are short on RAM and/or have an old or unstable operating system then you may have problems running any recent applications, not just Norton.
