    Hi,

No the case is not closed. Her initial complaint was that I had not described the item accurately because it was smaller than she expected, The listing clearly states each heart is 6cm. I offered to refund her if she sent the item back to me and emailed me proof of posting. After the advice I got on here.

I have heard nothing, she is ignoring my emails and Ebay suggest I contact her again, I have not been paid and she has the item .

The case is waiting her response

For her to get the refund, she needs to send it back. If she doens't, I assume paypal will hold on to the money until the case is closed? Not an expert here.
I know when you open a case, you can escalate after 8 days if there's no response. I don't know how it works if you are the person the case is opened against but might be worth looking to see if there's an option on the case for that?
If not, try one last time (post message through the case) to contact the buyer and ask if she's returned it or not. Give her 48 hours and, if no response, see if you can get the case closed in your favour. You may need to call ebay CS if you can't do this yourself through the case.

Thanks, I gave 15 days to send it back then I contacted Ebay CS and they said contact her again, Which I did 2 days ago.

I thought I was going to have problems as when she bought it she didn't pay immediately then payed over a BH and then messaged me 48hrs later asking when she should expect to receive it !
  • OK well you've contacted her again as they advised and nothing's happened so ask ebay to make a decision on it.
Stand back and wait for the negative to hit your feedback though. :o

Well she has closed the case and I have been paid. And yes Mindless I am sure she will leave bad feedback because she didn't read the listing properly ! I have not given her feedback though so I can reply , having looked at her previous feedback she does leave bad comments.
  • If she's a regular on the negative button, I would not worry about it unduly, as people do check out patterns on feedback (If I see a lobe neg on a listing, I often go look what the person who left it normally leaves) but you might have a case to ask ebay to remove her feedback.
If not, just reply to her feedback with something polite to the effect that it was buyer fault and block her.
