Hello there, when I had AOL and encountered problems I also found their "help" no help at all! And as soon as I came to the 11th month of my contract with them in went my 30 days notice to leave....but that's irrelevant to your problem ..sorry! You need to get some antivirus on your pc and if your McAfee has been deleted and they won't allow you to redownload it for whatever reason...get AVG or Avast...in my experience they are just as good as McAfee, although I am not sure if the free version of AVG updates automatically...but I know that Avast antivirus does - you need to register by email..and they send you a serial code that will allow you to get automatic updates for 14 months...after that you just register again.
You can download Avast from here:http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
Hope this is of some use:D0 -
You can set AVG up to automatically detect and download updates - remembering to allow it through your firewall of course.
Speaking of firewall we used to have Zonealarm but it doesn't allow you to network computers to the internet. For that you have to pay for the pro version. So we downloaded sygate for free and it allows networking.

Whether it works with aol or not I am not sure.0
