Tidied up bank account this morning so OP of £1.46

Can't wait to see BF's face when he looks at the statement on-line and see's the amount as he thinks small payments are a waste of time

So I will show him Tilly's post of 3p :)

First mortgage payment is in 4 days  wonder if they will re-calculate a new value due to all the OP's :)
    Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0
    ISA challenge start 2019 £3000/£1500 (50%)
  • Hiya Radish, I am sure he will think I am quite mad - but it's still 3p less than yesterday :rotfl:

I have put on weight over the last few months, slacking on exercise and drinking - things need to change

Have spent 4 days at Euro Disney spending lots of money :)

Laughed so much whilst we where there that my ribs started to ache and had to wipe away tears of laughter as well

Bathroom now all signed up, so now panicking about the colour of the tiles as we are getting the same for the walls as the floor

    Delayed reaction from BF

He has tidied down the big part of the mortgage to £80K (which is an OP of £5575.85)

Downside is that the pot of money for DIY is decreasing

Total mortgage is now about £110K :)

  • That's great news. He seems really on board - apart from small OPs, but if he's making 000s I would be pretty happy too.

It is a pain about the DIY budget decreasing but do you both have the skills/friends/family who can help reduce the bill?

    Best wishes Tilly x
