Do you know, I expect the term tilly-tidy will be a new dictionary word one of those days... and people will wear a 'I've Just Done a Tilly-Tidy' tee-shirt:D

Can't believe that we are hurtling towards the end of Jan already. I annoyed everyone yesterday at work by telling them it was only 11 months to Christmas

Lots of snow, so BF currently outside shoveling it into a big pile, not sure why he is clearing the parts that don't need clearing and not the parts that do, like behind the cars but the sun it out so I'm hoping it has all melted away ready for Monday morning

I'm also being a very good girl today and not going to a beer festival so I carry on with my not drinking in Jan (possible Feb) and looking forward to having a day without the BF being around, means I can tidy up and it will stay tidy until tomorrow. So plan to just potter around today not really doing much

I still haven't put anything in the new airing cupboard as just cant face sorting out the huge piles of stuff we have :)

Did a massive Tilly tidy up of £99.67 as decide I wanted a nice round number on my account and have being trying to complete a year long budget plan so see how much extra each month I can pay towards the mortgage, hoping/estimated £200 as this effectively cancels out the interest each month that the nasty bank adds.

Then to sabotage the above plan we have booked a holiday for Sept so are off the Cape Verde :T, don't need to pay till June so have time to save up and lose weight as it will be bikini time

And thats about all that has happened in the world of Radish, till next time :p

Hiya nice to see you again Cape Verde sounds fab and very sophisticated you will need a fab new bikini for that. Well done on the non drinking it really makes a difference. I don't miss it now and I was almost 1/2 bottle of Pinot Grigio a night before. Have you thought of low alcohol wine, the 5.5% stuff us quite drinkable or spritzer in case you can't abstain to Feb.

Radish you're just doing so brilliantly - I had to look to see where Cape Verde was:o and it looks/sounds amazing.
It's nice to know that others have been going through a dryjanuary - having a glass of wine for me, was just pure habit, although I don't even think about it (much!) anymore. For me wine = crisps and chocolate, so I'm definitely staying with it during February if you care to join me?

PS tidying up £99.67 is a trulyterrifictillytidy:Twhereas I've not even managed a tinytillytidy:(

  • Hi Radish, that's a humongous TillyTidy :rotfl:

Your holiday sounds great and I agree with TG, very grown up. I'm so looking forward to the days when Mr T and I can do similar things :D

To and get the airing cupboard done - you'll have to keep opening the door to admire how tidy it is :rotfl:

OK Natty I will join you with the no drinking till Feb, I have dabbled with the idea of not drinking till a wedding in April but then remembered the hen do will probably be in March

Plus Natty I haven't eaten crisps for 2 whole years as they are my addiction

The sad thing Natty is the weight loss used to be at 33 lbs, then I moved in with the BF full time and gained 20lbs

So new year, back on healthy eating and so far have lost 5lbs

And no booze till the END of Feb :)
