i'm fuming
theres me last week thinking i'd sorted out my asda re: coupons
with promise that policy would be past down through staff

go to use coupons just now & they bl00dy refused
pointed out that till manager had checked with HO & rang to say indeed i could use them and that i also had a letter from HO

she walks off ,as appartently she doesn't like the way i talk to her ,admittedly not overly polite(frustrated more like it) but not rude either
came back with someone higher up and she refused too:mad: (so much for passing info down the chain)

well gotta say thank god i had letter from HO on me
both read it and reluctantly let coupons go through

don't think they were to happy though as could see them all chatting around SS monitor area as i walked out

But very well done on standing your ground otherwise these trouts think they can make stuff up just as they go along and it is important to show that they can't.

They wont be happy but they never are. Hopefully this means the next person and yourself wont have trouble with coupons there in the future.

I have had trouts say ridiculous nonsense like you cannot use more than one apg - when I said ring your supervisor, Trouty supervisor backed up the trout. Then it is HO time.

as to asda, think i've a way to go before they'll except my coupons without querying everytime
daft think is till manager knows from speaking to HO that they have to take them but still message hasn't reached shop floor.

I think it is worth contacting HO again and say the staff need training. They tend to respond to these sort of comments. I found one of my sadas did improve but I had to phone HO a lot. I would give a different name each time so it looked like different people were complaining

I have called HO while being trouted in sada and they have stopped the trouting and accepted my coupons

Depends how far you want to go - I do enjoy it when HO give the store a call and give them a trouting;)
