Had mega stressful afternoon/evening DS2 got a txt from Virgin they have changed the day of flights to Las Vegas for Cousins wedding. He was going with DSIL DBIL & his other 2 cousins so been ringing around checking the work situations and few probs. They could only offer the day before or day after original bkg both options no good. So have spent the evening trying to sort out new flights and accomadation with other companies DS2 spent ages hanging on phone to then be told he would have to ring tomorrow to sort cancellation, but BA would only hold the last 5 flights going out until 8.30 tonight :mad: I know there won't be a problem with the cancellation as it is their fault but DS2 was getting very stressed with it all:(:(:(

Been to M's, got a few bits and 4 tins of Heinz5, used MOC no problem - my favourite SA put them through on SS for me. She's always amazed by my coupons :rotfl:

AW jeferey poor DAIL :(:(can't believe she still in hospital and in pain after all this time so frustrating:mad::mad::mad: maybe some angry words are needed to give them a shake up maybe old saying the wheel that squeaks the loudest and all that;)

:hello:Good Morning. I'm just slowly catching up wth you all and my cuppa went cold while I was reading mags posts. It is times like this when I wish I had mags way with words and could respond better:o:o I have heard the saying that death in the family either brings you closer together or tears you apart and it sounds like chloe getting her wings made the latter happen. Mags your mum and dad sound like my gran and grandad used to be and I can understand in a way your mum. Your sister is a different matter though. My own feelings would be that I wouldn't want anything to do with her again. I remember you saying that you had a lot of help around the time from people on pts, help that was lovely but it should have been from them nearest to you, especially your sister.

I would do as much as you can for your mum and try and hide your pain/anger from her, but maybe now could/would be a good time to confront your dad while your mum is out of the way in hospital. I guess he cannot hurt you anymore than he has and at least you have tried then to get some answers to why he acted the way he did.

I also think that sometimes you have to keep out of your life for good people who only bring you down and your sister might be one of those people. It sounds like you have a lovely OH and of course 2 lovely daughters and the lovely little Luca soon.

Sorry for all the rambling, I have spent an hour typing and deleting, typing again to try and get my post sounding like I want. The most important thing I want to say though is that you NEVER bring the thread down with your posts mags and I am so glad we are here helping in some very small way.

I was the same trying to reply to MAGS heartfelt posts:A took me so long it signed me back out:o had in my head what wanted to say but getting it in writing was more difficult and kept deleting chunks. Thinking of you Mags:A

With all the sorting of holiday situation forgot to post I managed to get more 2p toothpastes to make up for the day before:j went through the self scan as BP advised:T my heart was thumping:o as a couple were having a problem scanning thought any moment a SA will come over.

Good job they had no pears in stock or may have tried a glitch shop:eek:

It is hammering it down here never mind bringing the blue sky back with you blow it over here now Blue:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
