if you remember a few days ago i said i couldn't enter a receipt as a row of digits missing
(worked it out but APG transaction number didn't match receipt)
so decided not to use it as shop only cost me £4


well completely forgot this today
and went through same till
:mad::mad: still printing with missing row of digits so i know have 2 more receipt with an incomplete transaction number:mad::mad:

now easy to work out number but APG &receipt won't match

so do i take the risk and try using them(been lucky with my store so reluctant to rock the boat)
or go to CS and point out the problem (at this point must point out both receipts i used a £14 APG on, total cash paid abt £27 was expecting £11-£14ish back)
or would you take the hit and just avoid that till in future

MT - Customer services can print you out a new receipt if you can give them date and time details. Probably best to ring first as it takes a little while. I did this about 6 months ago when my receipt printed without any details on the bottom. HTH

BP you got my sympathy. I avoided the 2 stores you mentioned and still got trouted. :(:(

I always said that the staff were a lot nicer than in the other store, but now they are turning out to be the same. Jealousy is a nasty thing:(:(:(

This is exactly why I convert all my APGs now, even the £10 ones:(

Some people on Elite never get trouted not even for APGs of £30+:eek:

I have never got trouted in my own area (so far:cool:), it just seems like the bigger the town the bigger the trouting. It wouldn't be so bad if they just said "I'm sorry but because it is such a large amount we have to check it" or something like instead of making up some carp and trying to make out we are criminals and have done something wrong.

I did have a till super take a duplicate of my shop today in another store. When I had got my receipt she pressed a button on the printer and it printed a duplicate one which she pocketed. I'm not sure what she is gonna do with it, but she can easily print out a coupon for herself and use it now she has the exact same receipt as me:eek::eek::eek:
