Also you can get 25 MB of data on any one day for 50p, wonder how the competitors stack up there?

So to get 50 free minutes own network minutes. You have to pay an arm and a leg to get Virgins expensive phone/mobile broadband service.:D

Thought about switching to an internet-over-the phone wires ADSL package where I live, but with the data consumption we do - streaming etc - it would cost as much as/more than Virgin's cable very fast internet.

Simply 8 will simply appeal to existing Virgin punters.

no. as a VM customer, you get an extra of unlimited calls to Virgin mobiles or Landlines.

back to the OP, I have this deal and I am very happy with it. No problems with coverage.

Simply 8 still does not offer value for money if you like to dip into data from time to time. I tried to get the £5/month VM deal that some claimed to have got, was only offered £7 so misses and I have moved our mobile numbers away from Virgin.
