Orange- real issues with the BB service dropping today?

I have "lost" the internet so many times today. Have rung Orange but after 40 mins I am none the wiser as the CS has "suggested" it's my BT socket. I think that there is another issue, but not sure. I am in Exeter: has anyone else had issues today, in particular?

I had this problem last weekend (3 calls to Orange, each time they said they had fixed it and half an hour later dropped out again) and again yesterday, I gave up in the end last night. Over the years I have had a lot of trouble with losing the broadband connection, only stayed with Orange because it was free but now that is ending shall be going elsewhere.0
