Hope everything goes well today CY and Mumto5

Paid stuff today but heaps to do when I get back. The house looks so much better when i actually try to keep on top of it.

Hoover is nearly dead (again). Pesty building works and too many animals destroy dysons. Does anyone have the upright meile (sp?) pet one and is it worth the money? How long do the bags last? I have to hoover every day and I have joint problems so heavy is an issue.

Thinking of you this morning, CyclingYorkie and DD. Hope it all goes well for you.

Hope you have a good day in your new job, Mumto5.

Yesterday my DH finally received the medical appointment that he's been awaiting for at least 4 months - there was a problem between his firm and the occupational health provider, and they kept sending him appointments with the wrong person. It's for Friday 14th in Harley Street, no less! (Good job we're not paying!!) He also has an appointment with a cardiologist at our local hospital on 12th, and he wants me to go with him to both, so that's two non-flying days next week. Better get on with it while I can!

All is fairly tidy except my study, which needs TLC this morning - must do some filing (piles of papers on the floor). The rest of the house just needs a lick and a promise to look good again - still shining from Sunday. Having visitors is a good thing: it keeps me on my toes!

I have given up on the website for today and found another solution for the informal meeting tonight when I had intended to point people towards the new website: instead I shall just re-format and print out the draft of the website as a hand-out.
