Follow the tutorial in your second post (it's likely to be the two "right hand hinge screws" at about 3mins 15secs)How do I add a signature?0 -
Yes they do (though 'repair' is dubious), but you'd be quite insane to entrust your laptop to DSG-for anything remotely specialised like stripping down a laptop, they'd sub it out anyway.
Lol, they don't sub it out. It's all done in Newark now, over 1000 technicians working in Shifts to repair TV's, Laptops & other devices down there. They repair over 1.1Million units a year, thats 3000 a day and are the biggest in the UK and 2nd biggest in Europe I believe.
I'm sure the technicians with the years of experience doing the same things over and over every year with professional qualifications eventually pick up how to disassemble a laptop.
Anywhooo, Dell release the service manuals online so either enter you model number and serivce manual into google or tell us the Model Number (from the bottom of your laptop) and we will source one for you.0 -

I am not familiar with most of the vocab used on this page - http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/insN5010/en/sm/index.htm - so I would appreciate it if you could find me the relevant info
