have enjoyed a good phone/bb service for over 2years now but have noticed ive been getting billed for an account they were asked to close 18months as i moved house and set up new account at new house. thought i had nothing better to do than phone up and get a refund, heres how they treat you.

got thru to a lady who says her name was christine which i doubt as she struggled with english as she kept asking if i was the HOUND HOLDER to which i said i was the account holder but no she kept asking if i was hound holder, but anyway explained the situation to her and she said i was not tell truth even thought i have copy from my bank of there withdrawls so asked to be put thru to her supervisor to which she asked why so i explained i felt there was communication issuses but she kept asking & asking why atleast a dozen times refusing until i lost my temper and she cut me off.
so took 5mins and phoned back ,this time got a gentleman whos english was slightly better but said supervisor was not available as not on his floor and kept trying to get me to phone back tomorrow to which i refused,after i explained the situation he said in this specific case he could put me thru to a supervisor for this .specific case,
i was then put thru to a gentleman called malcolm based in scotland who was very helpful but not a supervisor or have a power to sanction what i was looking for, after going thru it all again he offered me 3months free which i refused ,he then offered 6month refund as according to him thats maximum there policies allow which i also refused , so he said a manager would phone me back within 8hrs but we will see.
i have never been treated so badly by a company in my life:mad:

  • Just moved from SKY to Plusnet. Before moving to Plusnet I had ordered a new line with TalkTalk (before I found Plusnet could take over SKY LLU and you retain your number), but by then I had paid a year up front with TalkTalk.

    Ringing their support line was like pulling teeth, but I posted on here and the TalkTalk rep said to log it via twitter of all places. I did that and then got the refund within a couple of days

    This is what they advised me:

    If you tweet us @TalkTalkcare we can check the refund has been processed.
