Can Android v4.0 play albums??? 2.2 can't

If that were the case - How on earth could my new media player (Winamp) list track numbers play them in correct order???????

The truth:

Someone on DS suggested they might not be tagged properly

So I looked at the info on a track WITH THE PHONE and it didn't list the track number - and since this could be for a million reasons i said "i will check it out" - transpires the reason was because that media player was !!!!! and didn't even acknowledge track numbers

The only way you came to the conclusion you did is because you were searching for a reason to be negative

I suggest you ignore me in future and i'll return the favour

Just to confirm that Winamp works perfectly and plays all my albums in correct track order - and the stock player on my phone is a piece of junk written by a moron and couldn't play album track sin correct order

Problem solved then.
I use DoubleTwist to play music on my android, which has the advantage of syncing to iTunes.
I do hope you had artist and album folders, and track numbers in the ID3 tags, because this is what most music players expect -
ie. Blur/Parklife/Girls and Boys.mp3

Yeap got a squillion albums all tagged with Artist, album, track title, track number, genre (by WMP) - i dont do odd tracks - I've used the same SD card/music for last few years/phone without issue - just this vanilla music player didn't play them properly - but luvvin Winamp
