Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Not so good this week at Waitrose :(. 2 x punnets of plums, original price £2 each, reduced to 99p each and on buy 2 for £2. I paid £1.98 and got £2 back :D . So they only paid me 2p to take them away this week!

I also bought 2 x bags of blush oranges reduced from £2.49 to £1.25 each and on buy 2 for £4 but didn't get the 98p reduction I thought I might. I thought of going back to point it out but thought that would be a bit cheeky :rotfl:.

Waitrose seems to be reducing a lot of its stock. presumably to make way for the C*******s food coming in.

What about those of us on special diets ? I do low carb organic for my diabetes and I can count on one hand the number of YS products I've had :(

On the other hand I saved 14.99 by buying a Monsoon Home 'Tia' canvas wall art canvas at Debenhams not Homebase  That's ten loaves of organic wholemeal bread at Waitrose non-offer price :D

Edwardia, funny you should mention the Tia canvas, I bought one a couple of days ago for £25. Do you have any home shopping catalogues? There is a K&Co discount code that gives £30 off a £60 spend, they have the canvas priced at £55, I bought £5 of art supplies for my little one and got both for £30 delivered, might be worth a look .

Littlewoods is the same as K&co and there is a £10 off £50 code for them too. It's only branded in certain shops as Monsoon home, it's Graham & Brown, HTH.
  • Reduced food I managed to get at the co-op this morning.

Truly irrestible cod and chorizo fishcakes 2 per pack, £3.00 reduced to £1.50. Bought two packs.

Beef quarter lb burgers 4 per pack, £2.49 reduced to £1.29. Bought two packs.

This was my first time looking for reduced items and thought they were quite good value but as I was walking in a man went in who went straight to the chilled reduced and didn't pick anything up so I guess he didn't think they were that good value. I'm happy with my purchases though :)

That is an amazing saving couponqueen. :T

I am trying not to shop much this week, I am doing well at running the freezers down though. :)

    Purchases today:-

Tesco Express -value chipolatas 75p to 9p. I wouldn't normally buy ese but am going to make sausage rolls out of them with some puff pastry.

Co-op - venison burgers, reduced from £2.79 to 99p, I bought two packs.

I have absolutely no room at all in my freezers now, so no buying any food for a while, apart from food for the fridge :)

    Wow again! :j:j
  • Some amazing bargains here. Mine are not great but going to post them anyway.

    Co-op

6 chicken drumsticks, £3 down to £1.50, one bought.

2 chicken fillets, £3 down to £1.50, two bought. These are on a 2 for £5 offer normally so I ended up saving £2 on them instead of £3.

I can't believe I only started buying reduced meat yesterday, I had been buying full priced meat previously, dread to think of all the extra money I could probably have saved. A £ here, a £ there all adds up.
