Safe to go with this deal from Affordable Mobiles?

Hi all,

I've found a deal for my Dad since his phone has packed in and he's not being offered enough for what he pays, so we've been looking around everywhere and the best deal was the Samsung Galaxy S2 on 3's One Plan for £23 a month from Affordable Mobiles.

This was the cheapest we could find (used Omio) and was just wondering whether it was all okay to use AM and they were safe? The deal does not require any cashback or redemption.

Thank you so much in advance!

I don't see any problems with buying from them.

The only potential problem can be with using your statutory rights against the retailer should the phone develops a fault, but you are getting direct 24 month warranty from Samsung anyway.
  • Depending on his usage, that may not be the best deal available however it appears decent enough to me as the one plan would appeal to a high user like myself. Make sure you check on sites like omio and uswitch, etc before deciding. And obviously check quidco and tcb (although they are not guaranteed so think of them as a bonus not the final factor)

Why take a contract? PAYG provides the same connectivity and none of the downsides of commitment and risk. If he can use his existing handset, a free SIM is even better.
