Thanks for all the replies to my vent

I spoke to them this morning and they were very apologetic and finishing the job with a paint brush !!!
Now have the job of trying to pressure wash the paint off,. The concrete bases are ruined tho.
Surely they have the job of pressure washing it off?If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

Judging by their painting skills maybe letting them loose with a pressure washer is not the best thing

Would this damage be covered on your insurance? Could you get a company to come in and clean it all up if it isn't an easy job?The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0

I'm glad they were apologetic. At least you don't have to fall out with them and hopefully they'll think twice in future!0

I've seen someone strip the paint off a car and a front door by being too enthusiastic with a pressure washer.
If it hadn't occurred to the neighbours that spray paint - fine droplets in the air - might travel into next door's garden, I wouldn't trust them with a pressure washer, either.0 -

But if the OP is there and watching....oh it doesn't matter. The OP is doing it themselves anyway so what's the point? If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
They probably had no idea that their spray went through the gaps in the fence and covered your stuff.
Spray paint going through gaps? Who would have thought.
This is the main reason that I have only rarely used sprays for fences - I reckon it actually works out as less effort to use a paintbrush than to go round with covers to make sure the spray doesn't cause any damage.0
