Oh dear, hope you get it sorted out. Stiff drink or two tonight and calm chat with neighbours tomorrow. I bet they will be mortified at the damage they have caused to your property.

When you do speak to them, speak without anger. You are more likely to get a goos response from them. They may not even know that they have caused any damage yet.

They probably had no idea that their spray went through the gaps in the fence and covered your stuff.

Tomorrow will be too late..it dries and getting it off cement products is a nightmare not even a pressure washer will do if you have let it dry...Trying to get off over spray from my concrete fence posts is a waste of time.Impossible..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

My neighbours landlord painted their fence.

A couple of days later we found our patio furniture and some of our windows with paint on! DH managed to get it off the windows with a knife.

The patio set was a cheap plastic job, but we told our neighbours and they were really apologetic and gave us their spare set! They said their landlord only does it every couple of years but next time they would warn us before and also make sure he wasnt spraying quite so liberally! Or use a paint brush!
  • 3 year ago, we painted the outside of our high fence
i didnt know it was spraying the big green wheelie bin on the other side
i still :o when i put it out
it looks like camoflage compared to everyone elses :D

Thanks for all the replies to my vent :)

I spoke to them this morning and they were very apologetic and finishing the job with a paint brush !!!

Now have the job of trying to pressure wash the paint off,. The concrete bases are ruined tho.
