Advanced Train Tickets

I have recently bought some train tickets on redspottedhanky.com, they were advanced non refundable tickets, I have since found out I can get a lift on the day and do not need to use the tickets..totally gutted as it's such a waste of money. Is there ANY ways of getting a refund? Or does any one have any ideas what I could…
