Bt or Talktalk. Same speed?

Hi. Thinking of moving my broadband from Bt to Talktalk. Bt say my average line speed is 9.0 but Talktalk say 6.1. Would my line speed actually drop if i were to switch to Talktalk??

Wouldn't surprise me if you got no broadband at all with TalkTalk!

Is this TT service an LLU one?
TT are probably being pessimistic, I very much doubt that your speed would drop.
If it's a non-LLU service, it should make no difference, as it'll be running over the same BT network as before.

i have been happy with talktalk until i have to phone them , please for your sake dont switch to talktalk as there customer services are so bad its untrue
