    Hi all.

Where, oh where is this ear going?

BB healing vibes for poor Maud.

Mr LW got a clean bill of health from the Fang Farrier this morning, so that's out of the way for another 6 months.:T

We've been out and done some shopping, and I've now had to retire to the sofa. The fatigue hit me like a sledgehammer!:(

I did manage to cobble together pasta fusilli in cheese sauce, though.;)

Mr LW will be going to the monthly farmers market tomorrow - I've already done the list for him. I used to go with him, but it's so exhausting, and I can use the time more profitably by staying here and getting on with a few tasks.

    I hope everyone's having a good weekend.:o

  • Hello chums back from my holidays and it was a case of too much:):):)
Ate too much, (Norfolk food is great, and we had a blow out last night in the pub and it was gorgeous
    Spent too much,(see above ):):)
Did too much, (right arm is a bit up as it was a long drive home this morning, and I did it in one lump, all 158 miles of it, exhausted but had we all a great time, and now its back to normality again and making a shilling do the work of ten :):)

Sea Palling was fantasic, and the beach was to die for.The boys loved it .We went to a zoo,(Thrigby Hall)and a water garden and a couple of stately piles (Blickling and Felbrig) and the best trip I liked was the wildlife trip on a little boat from Horsey Mere, the guide was brilliant, and very amusing and informative about the birdlife. He even got the boys interested in watching Marsh Harriers taking off with their 4ft wingspan.Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the place. The house was great, thatched roof(good few spiders though) and log fire in the evening if it got a bit chilly. A lovely lady called Alex lives in the village and nothing was too much trouble for her(she is the housekeeper who looks after the property when the owners aren't around. She was great and I can't thank her enough (also a doggy person) which was good as we had both DDs dogs with us.Only had a couple of rainyish days but the weather changed very quickly from rain to sunshine.
I hope everyone has been good and been hoarding all their cash (I have spent a fortune, but worth every penny)
Joe Pasquale was good in Gt Yarmouth last Tuesday night, and the boys were in hysterics at his antics.DD managed to get the boys school shoes last week whilst up in Yarmouth which has saved her a trip into the shops tomorrow Ben did well in his GCSE's and has a place at 6th form to do his 'A'levels.
Mikey is back to school on Monday and Henry starts onTuesday at his senior school as a year 7.Jack is lording it over him at the moment as he is at the same school but will be a year 8.
I am going to put my feet up tonight and watch some catch up t.v. and maybe do some knitting.
Hope all's been well whilst I was away.
    Cheers chums

Up early in the morning as hubby has to be at work at 7:30.
I'm feeling ready to go back to work as I have done everything I set out to do over the holiday, the house is spick & span & all the little grot holes are cleared out & loads of stuff has been binned, passed on to people who can make use of it, taken to the CS or to the CFC place.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Well last night was eventful! It was my colleague's leaving do. Lots of laughter, tears, wine and dancing! It was a good night.

Woke up dying this morning :(. But had to drag myself out of bed and get dressed as I was going out for lunch with a friend. We went to Harvester, and then for a nice walk by the sea :) felt better after that. Then I came home and fell asleep on the sofa for 2 hours :rotfl:.

I've ordered a non-OS takeaway for dinner. But I used a voucher code, and it will do 2 meals so not too bad.

Early to bed for me I think!
