Have a pretty free day today, need to go to the library and get a few bits in town. Will watch GP qualifying and the Vuelta highlights and start to pack. but essentially a lazy day.
Have fun all, hope migraines and problems fade for those facing them.'Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.' T S Eliot0 -

Morning all.
Ebay morning here, currently practicing the art of making all my parcels under 1" thickThere is a PO near me (not the one that overcharges) that measures thickness by dropping items on to the measuring holes, chuffing ridiculous even a post card won't make it through everytime!! Needless to say I don't use that one.
One of my Dad's items has sold to someone called "Iva bigone" whose address is a storage facility :rotfl: Hmmm
It feels very weird to be living with my parents again, it has been years after all.
Meeting friends this afternoon then having a serious rhinestone session with my sister tonight. Some people may have spotted last nights creation on ebay

Morning all, long time since I have been here but feeling the warmth like a favourite jumper! Had a rubbish summer holiday - pneumonia, pleurisy, three cracked ribs, whiplash, DS1 two week stay in hospital other than an uneventfull summer.
Waiting till Wednesday when all out the house and can finally sort stuff out even if it is one armed.
Smiles and hugs to all those that need one.

Morning All.
DS had his phone stolen while at the pub last evening. DH went online to put a block on it and I am now frantically looking for the insurance documents. have vague memory of telling DS he'd be best looking after them as he'd be the one needing them...but of course I can't ask him until/unless he calls us from a phone box! Assume as I pay by DD I could trace them that way???? Why is life never simple?
have cleaned bathroom, cloakroom and loos so far today and ironed the clothes washed yesterday - so basket is empty again! little things please me!
Need to get list from neighbour who is almost 90 and virtually housebound before I go shopping...but need to wait until DH returns as one of us needs to be around in case DS calls.
Friend who always lends me a car-seat for DGD is on holiday - and DGD and DS should be coming up tomorrow for the three non-pupil days...am probably going to purchase booster-cushion as they seem to say from around 4years of age - and she'll be 6 come November.
Need to menu-plan for next week before going shopping, but can't seem to concentrate yet!
Oh well, I guess it'll all come out in the wash as Mum used to say!
Hope you all have a good day today. take care.Resolution:

Morning all,
September already. As usual for every 1st of the month another months direct debits have gone out of my bank account. I spent more than i should have last week so i'd best check ive still got the money for the council tax or i'll be overdrawn. Gone are the days i didnt have to worry about money but hubby is having to lean more and more on me these days to pay for things that were once took for granted.
Well the weekend hasnt started off well for me. Within a couple of hours of hubby coming home last night i found myself in the dog house. We are finding it harder to live together on weekends the more time we spend apart during the week. I dont know why its only really been an issue over the last 12 months or so and he's been working away for 12 years.
Changing the subject slightly, its shopping day for me today. Last week i got our grocery bill down to £54. I am aiming for £50 this week which should be obtainable since theres only 2 of us here in the week and hubby weekends.
Oh and one last thing, we have noticed a few tiny holes in our back garden. Apparently our neighbours have been noticing the same in theirs. Since badgers have been noticed late at night in the field at the back of our garden we are assuming they are coming into our garden too. Which reminds me, i must treat my dogs with flea prevention treatment just in case.
Have a great Saturday all,This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Afternoon All
Got up early and went into Glasgow with DD, her shop has a 20% off sale and she then gets a 50% staff discount so I have got most of my pressies for the big event in December! Also got 3 tops from BHS sale for £14 and a cardi from somewhere else for £3. As if that wasn't enough there is a new BOdy Shop opened in a shopping centre there and I was given a ticket as the first 100 customers were given a goody bag! I was only walking past to the car park and got a lovely gift bag with 6 different items in so well pleased with that.
Went to local town for wool (making slippers for pressies) and the wool I use has been reduced to £1 a ball. A day for bargains!!
Washing about to go out after it had a final rinse outside yesterday and had to be washed again, the weather is a little better but I need to keep an eye out for the dreaded rain. Shopping done for the week and put away (a job I hate) and house just needs a hoover round.
Welcome to the Newbies, good to meet you.
Moorhen - My mum always said to fill a freezer with bread and grass cuttings!
DG - Hope the head improves.
Have a good weekend all. Take care.0 -
Afternoon All
Had to pop down and get a few bits from town this morning.
Washing all done and on the line, I didn't think that I would get it out today because it was grim this morning, but it is lovely now. DS has de weeded the front garden and it looks so much better, it had really started to bug me.
I need to sort out my store cupboard and check what I have got, I have been a bit lax in keeping on top of it
Saffron flowers...Ouch  hope you are on the mend now (((Hugs)))
Dr Who tonight ....can't wait :j
BFN xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
