Evening all,
Finally, life has slowed down slightly so Ive had a chance to browse and post !
LPP - thanks for starting the thread
La E - hugs for your dog
Pixie - hope the car isn't too expensive
Ziggy - hugs Hun
Determined - cheer up Hun
I've not been up to much recently, work has been crazily busy and I'm having my first holiday since Christmas (apart from study leave)
I ended up in tears on Friday as due to tiredness, stressed out-ness and panicking as I am on holiday and had to clear my desk (thankfully I took myself off to the loos but spent the rest of the day with attractive red eyes
)
So due to a combination of workload, the time I am commuting and the possibity of my rail fare going up 6-10% in January, I'm thinking of leaving
I spent yesterday doing nothing - heaven !!!
But did manage to- Check bank account
- Updated budget spreadsheet
- Moved pennies to savings account
Today I've been more productive
So I have......- Meals at home
- Drove 30 miles to Ikea in Southampton and got stuck in the worst traffic both there and back - averaged 50 mph so cheapish and even better as hubby paid for petrol
- Used my aa Prepaid card to pay for the things we bought - aiming on getting a lot of cash back towards my membership
- Researched where I could get my college textbooks cheap - i'd bought them through w&terstones but they are taking ages to deliver
- I need to look at where I can sell my aat level 2 books
- I need to update my cv and apply for a job in hometown
I think that is about it
Take care all

Hi everyone,
Perni - yip only affects dogs. Cats can get another similar virus but I don't think they can catch it from dogs or vice versa.
Thanks for all the well wishes for the little guy. Sounds like he's coming home t tomorrow night
don't know how I'm going to work tomorrow with excitement about picking him up!
Dfw-wise today:
- cleaned the car. No valet for me
- slow cooked ham and bits that need using up for tea
- make sandwich for work tomorrow
- decide what to do with loadsa mushrooms...
- night in on sofa with hubby
ziggy hope you're ok and managing to keep yourself busy at this hard time xx0 -
Just a quick visit tonight
Thanks girls for all your kind wishes, it means a lot.
DNMS - Hope you feel brighter soon
LaE - Great news about your pup
Perni - Hope you can get this neighbour business sorted.
Not a great deal managed this weekend and hardly anything DFW - a 200 mile round trip to see mum and unfortunately not a lot I could do but I know that just being there helped her, I still feel a little guilty that I couldnt stay longer but back to work tomorrow and I can try and get back into some kind of routine once little one back to school Wednesday.
Love you all :A
