    Wireless AV sender;

    Although look on Play.com/Amazon as you can get them cheaper.

    The wireless sender linked above will send a picture from one freeview box to all other TVs, all TVs will be viewing the same channel, every Tv will need a its own wireless reciever.

    To get an independent TV aerial socket in the other rooms you need to physically cable them from the aerial or distributions point, so every TV can view its own choice of channels.

    For a terrace/semidetached probably cost 45-65 per room if the current aerial is up to the job plus a distribution amplifier if needed.
  • are digital indoor aerials any good? i think seperate aerial points are out of the question as its a rented property.

    Indoor aerials (there's no such thing as a digital aerial - all aerials are analogue) can work reasonably well in a strong signal area, but aren't a good solution for most locations.

    I thought they'd have an RF bypass/combiner built in that'd carry RF channels along with the freeview/sky/cable channel.
    Sorry.

    Sorry.

    I think its illegal to rebroadcast the tv signal due to interference issues, if not a cheapish domestic wireless TV signal booster/repeater would be a good seller.

    It is indeed illegal to rebroadcast the aerial signal wirelessly.

    Anyway, OP, see http://mse-vip-1.hosted-at.thebunker.net/showthread.php?p=18607705

    Shame on you, unless you intended to put a smilie here. There is no good reason why a woman can't be a TV expert.

    Some 20 or more years ago there used to be available UHF videosenders - composite video input and output on variable RF channels 21 to 68 and no separate receiver required at the other end other than an analogue tuner in the TV. Illegal to use but not to buy or sell. I have one and it has a range of about 100 yards to my old hand held LCD TV.
