i went to johnny fun factory in morecambe and payed for a ticket but it was cheaper me getting a 12hr ticket for £3.00 rather than me to keep paying, my son had 2 parties there and i was going bk to pick my other son up from there later on. My ticket wasnt as sticky as when it first was put on so it fell off when i arrive bk to the car i had a parking ticket i contacted the number that is on the ticket its a mobile number and explained what happened he said if you pay £50.00 now then its forgot about otherwise its £75.00 if payed in 14 days, but it not the point i had a ticket which was payed for he said he didnt think i would get anywhere if i wrote a letter he also stated because i had a disable bagde in the window that i had left there because i had been across the road at frankie and bennies and parked is a disable place and forgot to take it out and my pay and display ticket wasnt on show i had to pay but the ticket had fallen off the window.
What do i do ive searched the internet for the company and cant really find much on them???

They are a private company so just ignore them.

For reference - it took me ages to pick the facts out of your post. Writing it in sentences would make it much easier.

That is the only sailent fact - They suffered no loss!

No it wouldn't matter - The Blue Badge Scheme does not apply on private property. This is made clear in two places in the handbook that comes with your badge and on all the issuer websites. Its the Equality Act that applies here and all suitably disabled persons can use spaces, badge or no badge.

    So just ignore these chancers.

They can, but its not an actual debt until a judge in a court says so. Which won't happen in a million years.

And don't confuse debt collectors with bailiffs. Two different things. A debt collector can politely ask for the money (by letter, they won't be bothered calling at your house, too much hassle for no financial reward), and that's it. They can't come in and take your telly or anything.

Only councils, the police, some train operators and Transport for London can issue legally enforceable fines or penalties. A private ticketing company can't. What they issue are “speculative invoices”.

Any warning signs are usually so badly positioned and worded, that they won’t have created a fair and legally binding deemed contract with a driver entering the car park in the first place. See The Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and Excel Parking Services vs. Cutts, Stockport, 2011.

If we assume that there is a contract, all the car park owner can claim from a driver in damages for an alleged breach of a contract is what they’ve lost as a result. If it’s in a free car park or the driver paid, this is £0.00. Demanding more has been judged to be unreasonable and, therefore, an unfair contract penalty under the terms of The Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977. See Dunlop Pneumatic Tyre Co. Ltd. vs. New Garage & Motor Co. Ltd., House of Lords, 1914 and countless cases since.

There are also now landmark court cases, VCS Parking Control vs. Ronald Ibbotson, S!!!!horpe, 2012, HM Revenue & Customs vs. VCS Parking Control, Lower Tax Tribunal, 2012 and VCS Parking Control vs. HM Revenue & Customs (Appeal), Upper Tax Tribunal, 2012. In these cases, the judges ruled that only the car park owner can charge for parking and take alleged offenders to court. The Upper Tax Tribunal is equivalent to the High Court and, therefore, its judgements set legal precedents. No private ticketing company or car park owner has taken any alleged offender to court since.

The Blue Badge scheme doesn’t apply to private car parks. Blue Badge holders don't need to display it. Anyone, who’s disabled with a long-term condition under the terms of The Equality Act 2010 can use a disabled parking bay in a private car park. However, the terms & conditions for private car parks usually state that you shouldn't park in a disabled parking bay without displaying a Blue Badge. This, in itself, contravenes The Equality Act.

In any event, you should write to the car park owner, advising them that they’re "jointly and severally liable" for the actions of their agents and that any further actions by the private ticketing company would be regarded as harassment under the terms of The Protection from Harassment Act 1997. This ought to make the car park owner call off the private ticketing company and, maybe, also realise the potential cost of doing business with one.

There’s no point appealling to the private ticketing company. They usually reject them. What’s in it for them to let anyone off?

The private ticketing company, then a debt collector and then a solicitor will send you a series of letters. The debt collector and solicitor are usually the same people, but using different headed paper. These letters will threaten you with every kind of financial and legal unpleasantness imaginable to try and intimidate you into paying.

Continue to ignore everything you get from them. Eventually, they’ll run out of empty threats and stop throwing good money after bad.

I wouldn't do that - waste of time. Just let them waste their money sending you empty threats - after about 4 or 5 they give up. They don't have a legal leg to stand on.
