  • The only thing I've bought this month because it was the only thing I needed: foundation.

IN: my new HG Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit. The shade is perfect for me and the results glorious. Barring some unforeseen allergic reaction I am sticking with this BB foundation for the time being. :j

I hate the oil that comes with Flake Away too! I just don't feel clean after using it.

However, The Breakfast Scrub is perfect, no oil at all. I quite fancy trying Sugar Crush because of the zesty smell but I'm not sure whether it falls into the greasy/non-greasy category. Anyone have Sugar Crush scrub?

I haven't tried Sugar Crush but I've tried Pulp Friction and it's the only body scrub I've ever liked! It's in a tube so it's easier to use and it washes away totally cleanly. It's thick and creamy and really scrubby. :) It doesn't have the sugar-sweet S&G scent, it's different (better IMO as I don't like the original!).

I'm about to finish a handsoap and I'll decant some of the S&G bubble bath from the Big Splendour set into it as I don't have a bath. :p

Hi everyone, not been around for a while, missed you all.

OH and I took a little holiday to recover from our incredibly hard working holiday, after 3 days my mum was rushed into hospital, suspected stroke, but turned out to be a nasty UTI, she then had a reaction to anti-biotics resulting in S&D, which in turn caused her sodium level to drop madly. Spent anxious few days and dozens of phone calls with my sis and brothers. Returned home early to stay at her house and look after her, and today is my first day back home after a total of 2 weeks. Pleased to report that she has recovered well, but I am shattered.

Good news is I go to hospital for investigative op on my duff ankle next Wednesday, a few use ups and a shed load of in's as I managed to visit a Debenhams and had rather a splurge on Elemis (only one of the pink kits ValM) but lots of other treats. I will confess all as soon as I can list it.

I have caught up with all your posts, hugs and comiserations, and congratulations as appropriate. I have had major withdrawl symptoms from having no internet access:rotfl:

Maddiemay, glad your mum is feeling better and hope all goes well with your op. Looking forward to seeing your Elemis list. x

I love Sugar Crush. To me it is oily in the pot but not on application if this makes sense. On application it is very scrubby and the smell is divine.

Those naughty people at TBS have sent me a 50% off code as I haven't ordered in ages. I'm getting low on both my facial and body scrubs and Emma has run out of the body polish she likes from there so I think I will probably order.

Next week is my last week in my present job and I'm only working 4 days as I had a day's holiday entitlement left owing me. Can't wait to finish now. Am going to spend next Friday shopping for some new shoes and clothes for work.

have a lovely weekend everyone. I have to go to my Bank to pay in the cheque I've received as refund for the Guess bag MrM bought me on hols. Very impressed with their customer service in dealing with this.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Talking of exfoliators... has anyone tried the Le Edge? It's an exfoliating tool.

I have always had to work really hard to keep on top of ingrown hairs and keep my pins smooth. A few months ago I decided to get my legs waxed after not doing that for years (usually use Veet). I got the most awful ingrown hairs! I had seen the Le Edge on a couple of beauty sites for £20ish, but found it on Amazon for £10. Decided to purchase it as my legs were bumpy and exfoliators were not working. It's ahmazing! After a couple of uses, my ingrowns have completely gone, and my skin is now perfectly exfoliated with once weekly use. I still like to use a salt scrub occasionally too.

Would be interested to hear if anyone has tried it and if it has been any good for them?
