hiya, wonder if anyone can help please
since upgrading to IE9 when logging in here after a while it keeps logging me out, i've been ticking the 'remember me' box but it still keeps doing it,
i then started logging me in typing user/n etc manually & ticking the 'remember me' but it still keeps logging me out & am having to keep logging back in again every hour or so,
i never had this problem with IE8 so am wondering if anyone knows why or can help please,
TIA x

I have the same problem when I'm on pc fire**fly, doesn't do it on iPad and I have IE9 on pc. At first I thought it was when my DH used pc too but even if he doesn't go on and mse is the last site I used, it still logs me out!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0

i'm wondering if there's a time setting somewhere in our user cp's or somewhere, seems strange why it would keep timing us out :undecided

Hi fire**fly,
You will find no "auto logout time" setting in your UserCP. This is a forum-wide setting. As a rule of thumb try to move around the forums, from page to page, at least once every 15 minutes. Or you may be logged out.
There are actually a number of reasons why you might become logged out. In the vast majority of cases it's done as a precautionary measure. It's actually for your protection. These precautions prevent other users stealing your online identity. Unfortunately this means they are necessary and we cannot relax these rules.
I appreciate being logged out can be irritating but I hope than under the circumstances you can accept these precautions as a necessary evil.
Thank you.
