Was annoyed/upset in work today. It was announced to everyone that we would need to have a tight budget this academic year due to sickness last year. I know it might not have been aimed only at me but it has really upset me, I was off due to my mother being critical for weeks in hospital and than dying, then within a couple of weeks of going back to work (and my mother's death) my FIL died and I was feeling so guilty over the time I had taken off during my mothers illness that I only took 3 days leave despite being devastated.
I have wotked there for 6 years and had never ever had even an hour off before, I know we needed to be told perhaps that the budget was tight this year but I think that it was really insensitive to say it was due to sickness.
I am probably being over sensitive, there were a couple of other people who had time off too for various reasons so probably not solely directed at me.
Sorry for waffling or bringing thread down.0 -
Thank you and well done for your support for part of my thread since you posted there has been 12 complete shopping lists on view plus about 100 points of view on APGs
As for normal service will be resumed I cannot remember what the problem was It could only have been my view about a rather foul mouth member getting temporily suspended or my view on large amounts of photos been constantly reproduced by quotes. I hope we can still get on
Just what this thread needs, an FK and bcw123 bromance0 -

I seriously can't believe the amount of peeps that throw their receipts(money) away I've netted about £30 since friday!:T
You're lucky, I didn't see one womble receipt today, though I did refrain from routing in bins.
But I did so want to have a womble.
Still until the next time.
