Hi guys! Thanks for the the wine and ketchup heads up! Here's something different back atcha... Does anyone have a few ten thousand Avios burning a hole in their pockets? How about a very cheap cruise to while away the Winter blues?

I have just booked a cruise with MSC (Italian cruise line ) that departs from Genoa, Italy and then goes to Barcelona, Lisbon, Madeira Islands, Tenerife, and then over to Brazil(!) for three stops. It takes 16 days. The best bit is the cost:

-The flight to Genoa I booked cost £45 on British Airways
-The cruise costs a mere £380 for 16 days. That's food and accommodation for £23.75 per night...!
-My flight back from Rio de Janeiro was bought with 30,000 Avios and £23 in taxes...

That's less than £500 for my holiday! :j

Obviously there are drinks to pay for, and they are not cheap (you also have to pay for water and tea/coffee!), but I will try to abstain from booze and pack my suitcase full of water before I board :rotfl: There are some all-inclusive packages for booze at lunch/dinner that you can add on apparently. There is also the cost of excursions/any trips you take in port to add on, but personally if you have lots of Avios then I would go for it! If you don't have lots of Avios, then be cautious, as one-way flights back from Rio are likely to be expensive, and to dwarf the cost of your cruise... but if you do, what a bargain!

Be aware that MSC have "mixed reviews" at best... the boat is gorgeous apparently but the service and food can be poor. But for £23.75 a day I don't care - I'll eat gruel just to enjoy such an adventure! :rotfl:

I think we may need to buy 3 hair care products but not sure. Looking at Celebrates and Best prices comparisons last night 3 products were bought and it seems each item was compared to a third of the lower priced two items.

So perhaps need to buy 2 cheap items for every 1 expensive item, e.g. otherwise maybe 3 x shampoo will compare at £3.32 each same as Mr T?

Grrrr- Just watching Celeb BB. Can't believe Harvey being so judgemental about Danica ....he's hardly been an angel himself in the past. In fact he can't keep it zipped!

I said exactly the same thing when I saw it last night, a wee bit hypocritical I thought:eek:

That was my thinking but not sure if I am right. Can't remember whose comparison but the shampoo and conditioner on it were £1 each in Ts that is where I got my calculation from £2 divided by 3 is 66p! Think the other item was the hair colour. Sorry not looked back. ;)

I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!
