I love this:D:D0 -

hehe!
So I did a search, I promise to try and read back everything:o:o
Anyway I want to say a massive thank you to magicowen and Looby for testing A's vs W this morning. You guys are wonderful!:T:T
Something odd has happened on this one though, I wondered if anyone else had noticed. magicowen you bought 4 household products included in the 3 for 2. For the reason that it's the cheapest I would assume, the lemon cream cleaner is the one that has compared to full price (80p) EXCEPT.....The other 3 that compared on the 3 for 2 compared to the price the cream cleaner would have been in the offer!
80 x 2 / 3 = 53p
Whereas the flash wipes which are the next cheapest item in the 3 for 2 are £1 in W so by that calculation you would pay 66p per item.
1 x 2 / 3 = 66p
I'm not complaining, but a very very interesting result and I wonder if this could be used to our advantage:D
I really hope this makes sense!!
Oh I have no idea - with this, the lynx, my messed up shop...
this is now me.....
Well spotted! :T0 -
Postie brought Green Giant Height chart
Find it very difficult to get on laptop with 2 little ones to look after, but doing my best to keep up.
3 for 2 glitch just gets better!:money:0 -
John frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo did not compare on mine, but the sheer blonde conditioner did
Also from day before john freida go lighter blonde shampoo and conditioner did compare..hth
With regards to household, may be worth buying the 2L domestos bleach.. as with cheap toilet cleaner 75p at As, 80p at W..it will work out at the 53p, 2L for 53p is better than the same price for 1L. I may go for the vanish carpet cleaning powder too, at £6..but then that means I would have to clean the carpet!!!
Thanks for all the info everyone, off to check out the vitamins, cheapest lynx could be is about £1.35 each, not cheap enough :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I did two shops and the SA was amazed at my APGs (a £9 and a £12) she was lovely and no bother.
My mum used her £30 odd one without any bother, they tried to keep the receipt but I told them it was needed so she knew what she'd spent this month. She was just standing there a bit bewildered so they took pity on her and took the receipt to photocopy and brought her back the original :T. I think I helped that it was a huge spend (£80) she was doing, most of which won't fit/wrong colour so she'll get that money back. Just glad she got it spent.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

A glitch on a womble for those that like Vodka...
Not sure if it's any use to anybody but I just put through an A$da womble and saw this...

Comparison total (compared products only)£29.48£29.00
The significance of this is that there is a £2.48 multibuy discount on the receipt so they only paid £5.00 in the first place. The discount states "premix cans 4 for £5.00" but as they bought all Vodka Cranberries I'm not sure if it works for others in the deal.
It would make each can £1 after APG and discount compared to Mr T...not exceptional I know but it may help somebody!
I had the same thing last week some small bottles wine. And I've had it with beers before. The beers were 2 for £3 but the price checker showed the full value without multi buy discount. Not a huge difference but hand if your buying the product anyway. Think I made about £1.80 from it0 -
So if you were targetting a shop against w's ...would you get 1 of the cheapest cleaning item that compares, with 2 x expensive ones. For example Parazone bleach £1 x1 and 2 x Mussles sink unblocker?
Hi, really sorry to ask, off out and too much to catch up on before i go, can you do the above in muliplies, 2 parazone and 4 mr muscle? also do you have to keep it seperate on a shop for the hair care stuff.
Not had time to look as it was my gransons christening yesterday, went really well, i think, and i got a massive hangover, only just feeling up to moving hangs head in shame :rotfl:0 -
