How do you guys spend your APGs?
I'm finding it harder to use mine lately, cos I have so many (from wine and wombling)
I just used my first APG in Tecso at lunchtime (this is a NI specific thing as far as I make out)
I just added up how many £ worth I have of APGs and makes for shocking reading!!
Also gave away a £6 off £30 shop from Siansburys to a colleague - there's no way I'd spend thatNO MORE HANDWASH GLITCHES PLEASE:D

I also use Twant! but that's a little too strong to call myself! They are swear words in my mind when I use them, but to others they seem fairly polite!:rotfl:

Fairclaire, I'm so sorry to read what you've been going through. I can totally relate to every thing you've said. My DH is ex-services. He did tours of Iraq (first Gulf war), Bosnia and 3 tours of Ireland to name a few. He too really struggles to deal with everything. He was shot in Iraq, 3 days later his unit were ambushed on patrol and 3 of them killed. (His best friend included. ) He has never forgiven himself for not being there. Ironically being shot in the head probably, actually saved his life.
He has told me some things that he's seen that have made me physically sick, but mostly it keeps it all to himself and carries that burden alone. To this day he has nightmares that scare me, I can only imagine what it does to him.
I don't think anyone who hasn't been there and done it can truly understand what our guys and girls go through on the frontline and they are truly this nation's heroes. I for one salute every single one of them.
You have shown such courage and strength to take the first big step to getting your OH the help he desperately needs. He may never forget the things he's encountered and endured but hopefully with time and the right treatment, he'll soon be able to deal with it better.
You are both in my thoughts. You've done the right thing and I hope you both get everything you need. As a country, it's the very least we can do. xxxGwrys yn Kernow! :j0 -
